the sun is shining in the northern hemisphere, the days are lengthening and the clock's ticking

right now is the moment to commit to shoot your straight 8 2011 entry

in a couple of weeks it'll be too late to enter s8 2011

you have to receive your film from us, shoot and deliver it back to us for our 31st march deadline.  and there's a further week for sound

don't be put off... the greatest inspiration usually comes quickly

in a flash even

actually it's more a question of catching it than having it

so go for it

you know the drill: straight 8 is open to anyone anywhere

one roll of super 8.  no editing.  it's raw.  it's pure.  you make the film you want to make

if it's great you see it - the first time - at cannes film festival or one of a load of other superb screenings throughout 2011 - rushes soho shorts, cannes advertising festival, sheffield documentary fest
